July 26th we flew out for Evvie June’s first plane ride to the Boston Logan Airport. The flight there was not bad at all! Ev didn’t sleep, but she enjoyed jumping lap to lap and looking out the window for the flight. Our first night we stayed in Plymouth Massachusetts and then walked around the downtown area for a little bit before Brent and I had to head to Katherine and Bens rehearsal dinner!
That night was the first night we met Katherine and Ben and their family and we seriously felt like apart of the family the moment we got there! We also enjoyed our very first New England Clam Chowder and amazing other food! Once we left, we went back to Plymouth for the night to prepare for their wedding and moving our things to Falmouth, MA the next morning! Our Airbnb we stayed in was so cute and just a pleasant place to stay.
The day after the wedding, we spent the day to relax and get ready for the fun things to do for the rest of the week! We also found a cute little trail in our neighborhood that led to a little spot on the Cape to play in the sand! On Monday, we voyaged on the Island Queen to Martha’s Vineyard. Oh how beautiful it was! We had such fun time exploring the Island, although it was a lot more touristy than we thought it would be. Next time we visit, we really want to try Nantucket! All in all, we enjoyed the food, and the little park areas for EJ to walk around and play.
The next day, we spent another day of relaxing and took Ev to Friendly’s for breakfast! She sure did enjoy my Strawberry Lemonade. We spent Wednesday in Boston, exploring the history and walking the city with their good food and shopping. It was so beautiful and so ginormous!
Our very last day, we enjoyed a Red Sox/Yankees game that the Red Sox won! Ev had so much fun and it was an experience of a lifetime!
Thankful for the opportunity we had to travel to a place we have all wanted to see. I cannot wait to go back! <3 Hope you enjoy the highlights of the trip below of a mixture of phone/camera photos <3
